MOVIE SYPNOSIS

Three mysterious strangers terrorize a young couple in a remote house after they return from a wedding.

REVIEW:

For such a short film, this managed to cram in every senseless cliché of the so-called horror genre. '...Girl runs from bad guys, girl trips, girls falls and hurts herself, girl whimpers, duh...' No character development, no depth, no sympathy for the characters. '... bad guys are harassing your house and threatening you, so OF COURSE you get hysterical, cry, and seek out every spooky noise...' So bad guys are hacking at your front door with an axe, you've got a loaded shotgun in your hand, but you don't shoot, you throw a chair at the door, Oh Wait, I've got a gun! But by the time you think to shoot the bad guys are gone. So your under attack from bad guys and it's just you, your girlfriend, and a loaded shotgun, so instead of hunkering down and letting them come to you to get shot, you leave your girlfriend alone in the un-secured house while you wander off to the tool shed to find and old ham radio. Sure, makes sense. So you go visit your friends and someone shoots out your windshield, do you:

A-
drive off fast and call 911,

B-
call 911 then run in the house to check on your friends, or

C-
dust yourself off, sneak into the house quietly, without ever bothering to wonder why your friend's car is wrecked, who's pickup truck that is, why the house is trashed, don't bother turning off the loud stereo, or calling out your friends' names, in fact don't even bother to look behind you to see if maybe the people who shot out your windshield are still around.

That's right - C !?!

Everyone who died in this movie deserved to die for being such mindless, spineless, insipid, whimpering idiots. Maybe if you've never seen a movie before, ever, or if you've had recent head trauma, or maybe if you're Amish this movie might scare you. Maybe. Don't waste your time or money.

STANGERS deserves a
1.5/5 POPCORN..

Scents (Part Two)...by Vain DIVA

People often wonder how to make their perfume/fragrance last longer. Here are some of my tips... The areas that perfume will linger longest are:

inside the wrists and elbows,
collar bone,
nape of the neck,
behind the knees and
at the naval.

- Cologne, with a lower essential oil content of 2 to 5 per cent, is ideal for those who want a light scent. If you want a scent to last longer, go for an eau de parfum, which is more concentrated and contains 8 to 15 per cent of essential oils.

If it's a fragrance spritz... you can spray and walk through the mist without clothing on. Don't spray on your clothing for it will be stained!

Some Last Tips
If you are sensitive to perfumes, or out in the sun regularly, choose an alcohol free perfume which is less likely to irritate.

To ensure a longer shelf life for your fragrances, keep them in a cool, dry area and away from direct sunlight. Exposure to sun/heat can lead to discoloration, smell alteration, evaporation.Generally, a fragrance lasts two to three years if kept in the right conditions
To prolong a bottle of perfume, place it in a cool dry place..

Don't just spray some Perfume or Cologne and walk away through the door to go to work or anywhere. Always put it on atleast 10 minutes before you leave home. That way the scent will get enough time to settle on the skin rather than just evaporate.

FAQs
Where should I apply my fragrance?
Because the heart has a direct influence on the way a fragrance is enhanced and diffused, it is highly recommended that you apply perfume on your pulse points, and on places of your body where the skin is warmer, like the inside of the wrists and elbows, on the temples, under the ear lobe (and not behind), behind the knees, and anywhere else you feel like! This will enhance the scented trail you leave behind...If you use an Eau de Toilette(EDT), spray it approximately 20 cm away from your skin.

Where can I apply my fragrance, apart from on my skin?
Try spraying a little on your damp hair before drying, or spray it directly onto your hairbrush. Spray onto your clothes. This ultimate seduction move will also intensify your fragrance and make it last longer. Make sure you hold the spray 20 cm away from the garments, and avoid spraying on light fabrics and furs. You can also add a few drops to the water you use in your steam iron. This will delicately scent your clothes. Or, try rinsing your lingerie in water to which you will have added a few drops of fragrance. For a fragranced handbag, spray some perfume onto a handkerchief and place it inside.

Can I wear two fragrances at the same time?
It is not recommended as each fragrance is a complex, balanced and unique creation. When you combine two fragrances, there is a risk that you will disturb the delicate olfactory composition of each, thereby creating a new, less appealing scent.

How can I enhance my favorite fragrance?
Enjoy the pleasure of your favorite fragrance's body range. These products will help not only to intensify your fragrance, but also to make it last longer. It is best to avoid using other body products with a different fragrance.
Last but not least,
To be very honest with the reason we use Perfume or Cologne is not only to smell good but also to attract opposite sex. Men like women fragrance and women like men fragrance and the manufactures know about it.

Basically it is a trial and error process. That's why many people tend to buy smaller bottle to try it on and if it works good with that ..then they buy a bigger bottle and keep enjoying it.

TRAILER

MOVIE SYPNOSIS
Based upon Mark Millars explosive graphic novel
series and helmed by stunning visualist
director Timur Bekmambetovcreator of the most
successful Russian film franchise in history,
the Night Watch seriesWanted tells the tale of
one apathetic nobodys transformation into an
unparalleled enforcer of justice. In 2008, the
world will be introduced to a hero for a new
generation: Wesley Gibson. 25-year-old Wes
(James McAvoy) was the most disaffected, cube-
dwelling drone the planet had ever known. His
boss chewed him out hourly, his girlfriend
ignored him routinely and his life plodded on
interminably. Everyone was certain this
disengaged slacker would amount to nothing.
There was little else for Wes to do but wile
away the days and die in his slow, clock-
punching rut. Until he met a woman named Fox
(Angelina Jolie). After his estranged father is
murdered, the deadly sexy Fox recruits Wes into
the Fraternity, a secret society that trains
Wes to avenge his dads death by unlocking his
dormant powers. As she teaches him how to
develop lightning-quick reflexes and phenomenal
agility, Wes discovers this team lives by an
ancient, unbreakable code: carry out the death
orders given by fate itself. With wickedly
brilliant tutorsincluding the Fraternitys
enigmatic leader, Sloan (Morgan Freeman)Wes
grows to enjoy all the strength he ever wanted.
But, slowly, he begins to realize there is more
to his dangerous associates than meets the eye.
And as he wavers between newfound heroism and vengeance,

Wes will come to learn what no one
could ever teach him: he alone controls his
destiny.

WORTH EVERY $$:

Well its of course for my sister, Angelina Jolie. :P haha... anyways, its quite an actioned packed movie with loads of guns and action. Stunts are done quite well and the twist of the story is pretty fresh. A little misleading, which is what the twist is all about.

DOWNSIDE:

Effects are good though can get slightly cheesy. The start was a bit weird as its nothing actioned at all. People may already lose interest even before the action starts but I guess its just the twist of it. Rather repetative in "missions" and the part where he was being trained was too short. But nevertheless, a well worthy show to catch. :)

4/5 popcorn..

Scents...by Vain DIVA

SCENTS FOR THE DEAR READERS

Smelling good is what everyone likes. Before you can obtain the perfect scent, you need to first try some fragrances out.

Walk into a fragrance store and take your time to see what scents you prefer. If you have any doubts, ask for assistance.

Test just 4 different types of perfumes at a time. Too many varieties can be confusing to the nose, otherwise you can sniff some coffee powder to bring back its neutral state and continue with the testing. You should also test how the fragrance turns out after about 10 minutes, after the alcohol has evaporated and the perfume would have blended with the natural oils of your skin.

Decide if you want a light or heavy scent.
Many people use Perfume or Cologne different time for different reasons. Use some light perfume or fresh smelled cologne in the day time and a little heavy one at night time.

Watch this space for tips on how to retain your scent.

STAY TUNED...

MOVIE SYPNOSIS
There are heroes... there are superheroes... and then there's Hancock (Will Smith). With great power comes great responsibility everyone knows that everyone, that is, but Hancock. Edgy, conflicted, sarcastic, and misunderstood, Hancock's well-intentioned heroics might get the job done and save countless lives, but always seem to leave jaw-dropping damage in their wake. The public has finally had enough as grateful as they are to have their local hero, the good citizens of Los Angeles are wondering what they ever did to deserve this guy. Hancock isn't the kind of man who cares what other people think until the day that he saves the life of PR executive Ray Embrey (Jason Bateman), and the sardonic superhero begins to realize that he may have a vulnerable side after all. Facing that will be Hancock's greatest challenge yet and a task that may prove impossible as Ray's wife, Mary (Charlize Theron), insists that he's a lost cause.
